What is the World Series of Poker?

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is a world-renowned series of tournaments held annually in Las Vegas where leading players from across the world compete for the biggest prize in poker.. You can watch the best of the action live and on demand on ESPN Player.

 

What am I able to watch?

Each event spans over 6 days, with dedicated feeds bringing you the action from the main tables. Check the Schedule for further details.

 

When does each event start?

Full schedule information is available via the fixture boxes on the WSOP channel, or via the Schedule page.

 

Can I watch on demand?

All events that are originally broadcast live are available on demand, with a turnaround time of up to 3 hours after each broadcast has finished before they are uploaded to the site.

 

How do I purchase a package?

To sign up to a WSOP Package, simply select one of the subscription packages and complete the four-step purchase path following the simple instructions. Please make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements (listed below).

 

From which territories can I watch the WSOP on ESPN Player?

The WSOP on ESPN Player is available in Europe (excluding Italy), Canada, the Middle East, Africa, South America, (excluding Brazil, Chile and Mexico), Australasia (excluding Australia and New Zealand) and Asia excluding the following territories: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Caledonia, North Korea, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam. An alternative ESPN Player service now exists in these countries.

 

What do I do if I have paid for a subscription and cannot watch an event?

Try clearing the cache (or 'Temporary Internet Files') on your browser and restarting your machine.

This may also be related to a web browser media player plugin issue, follow these steps to resolve:

First step, uninstall Adobe Flash Plugin.

On a PC, do this through your CONTROL PANEL > ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS.

On a Mac, drag Adobe Flash Player from applications to your Trash; or use Finder to locate Adobe Flash Player install manager, and uninstall

Once you have removed Adobe Flash, ***restart your computer***

Finally, download/install Flash directly from Adobe's website: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

  • Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or Microsoft Windows Vista.
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 with Service Pack 2 or above, or Firefox 2.5 or above:
  • Adobe Flash Player 9.0.124.0 or above
  • Sufficient Internet connection bandwidth, 800kbps or higher for smooth playback experience.
  • Free hard disk space: 300 MB.
  • Video adapter and monitor: Super VGA (1024x768) or higher.
